INDIVIDUAL TUTORING

Sometimes a learner needs a little bit more time or attention to master a concept or skill. Individual tutoring sessions offer just that. Students work through material at their own pace with a trained educator to maximize their time and efforts. Subject areas covered include early literacy skills, reading, writing, math, science, social studies, social skills, study strategies and more.

SOCIAL SKILLS GROUPS

Now more than ever, students need opportunities to meet face to face with their peers and practice appropriate social behaviors and communication strategies. Groups are offered at several age ranges to provide opportunities for interactions with same age peers while doing fun, student-driven activities. All groups are run and supported by staff with training in Special Education.

INCLUSIVE EXTRA CURRICULAR ACTIVITIES

At Hope for All Learners, we firmly believe we are better together. If an activity isn’t accessible to all learners, it doesn’t work for us. That’s why we’re reinventing the idea of extracurricular activities to feature skilled instructors and special education-trained support staff with the goal that every child will have access to every activity we offer.

PARENT SUPPORT GROUPS

Having a child with special needs isn’t terribly uncommon and yet, when you’re going through it, it can feel incredibly isolating. Our goal is to help parents of special needs children connect with each other to provide support, advice and a listening ear as a simple reminder that you aren’t alone.

PARENT RESPITE EVENINGS

Our “Kids’ Night Out” programming creates both an inclusive and fun evening for kids to enjoy together - as well as an opportunity for their grown ups to get some much needed “time off”. Go on a date, run an errand, take a nap - it’s your time! Kids will enjoy a fun evening of games and activities while you get some time to yourself.

ADULT LITERACY PROGRAMS

For adults who are illiterate or under literate, we provide tutoring using multi-sensory, multi-modal instruction that approaches the challenges of learning to read in a totally new way. Gaining the skills to be able to read and write can open unlimited doors for our clients and we are excited to help them take this first great step in that direction.
